Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Helen Doherty, trading as ListAI ("we", "us"), collects and uses your personal data when you use ListAI (the "Service"). We are the data controller. We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Data we collect
- Account details: your name and email address, and a securely hashed password.
- Listing data: photos, titles, descriptions, prices and inventory you create or upload.
- Marketplace connections: access tokens for marketplaces you connect (e.g. eBay, Etsy), which are encrypted at rest. We do not store your marketplace passwords.
- Usage & technical data: basic logs needed to operate and secure the Service (e.g. sign-in events, error reports).
2. How we use your data
- To provide the Service — creating listings and publishing them to marketplaces you choose.
- To generate AI-assisted listing content from the information and photos you provide.
- To secure your account, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To contact you about your account, important changes, or support requests.
3. Lawful bases
We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), on the basis of our legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service), and to meet legal obligations where they apply. Where we rely on consent (for example, optional communications), you can withdraw it at any time.
4. Sharing & processors
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run ListAI, and only as needed. These currently include:
- Marketplaces you connect (e.g. eBay, Etsy, Vinted, Facebook) — to publish your listings, at your direction.
- AI providers — to generate listing content from the data you submit.
- Payment processing — if and when paid plans launch, payments are handled by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
- Hosting & infrastructure — the provider hosting our servers and database.
5. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.
6. Security & retention
We protect your data with encryption of sensitive credentials at rest, hashed passwords, access controls and regular encrypted backups. We keep your data for as long as you have an account, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting or security needs, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access a copy of your personal data;
- correct inaccurate data;
- request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten");
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- request portability of data you provided.
To exercise any of these, email info@silvercleanse.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
8. Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the "last updated" date; for material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
10. Contact
